Entry Purchase

How do I buy entries?

Entries can be purchased directly through the PrizeVaultRaffles website using our secure online checkout system.

How much does each entry cost?

Each entry costs $10 CAD.

Is there a limit to how many entries I can buy?

No. There is no maximum limit. Purchasing more entries increases your chances of winning.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Interac e-Transfer. All payments are processed securely.

Can I buy entries as a gift?

Yes. Entries may be purchased as a gift, provided the recipient meets all eligibility requirements. Prizes can only be claimed by the registered entry holder.

Eligibility

Who is eligible to participate?

Participants must be 19 years of age or older and legal residents of Alberta.

Can someone outside Alberta enter?

No. Only Alberta residents are eligible to participate, in accordance with provincial regulations.

Are there any restrictions?

Yes. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members involved in the administration of the draw may be restricted from participating.

Draw Process

When and where will the draw take place?

The draw will be held at the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation in Edmonton, Alberta. The official date will be announced in advance.

How are winners chosen?

Winners are selected using a certified random number generator under independent supervision to ensure fairness.

What are my chances of winning?

Odds depend on the total number of entries sold. Every entry has an equal chance of being selected.

Can I attend the draw?

Yes. The draw is a public event, and participants are welcome to attend. Event details will be shared prior to the draw.

Can one person win more than once?

Yes. If a participant holds multiple winning entries, they may win more than one prize unless otherwise stated.

Winner Notification & Prize Claims

How will winners be contacted?

Winners are notified within 24 hours of the draw by phone and email.

How long do I have to respond?

Winners must respond within 30 days of notification to claim their prize.

What is required to claim a prize?

Valid government-issued photo ID, proof of Alberta residency, and age verification (19+) are required.

How will I receive my prize?

Prizes may be collected in person at the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation or shipped, depending on the prize and winner’s preference.

Are prizes transferable or exchangeable?

No. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.

Do I have to pay taxes on my prize?

Prize tax obligations may vary. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes or reporting requirements.

Refunds & Changes

Are entry purchases refundable?

No. All entry sales are final and non-refundable, in compliance with AGLC regulations.

Can I transfer my entries to someone else?

No. Entries are non-transferable and remain registered to the original purchaser.

What happens if the draw is cancelled or postponed?

If the draw is cancelled or rescheduled, participants will be notified, and appropriate steps will be taken in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Is PrizeVaultRaffles legitimate?

Yes. PrizeVaultRaffles is fully licensed and regulated by Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC).

Where do the proceeds go?

Net proceeds support programs and initiatives of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, benefiting children and families across Western Canada.

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes. An official receipt and your unique entry numbers are emailed immediately after purchase.
